Control Options

Control wise both Bioshock and Bioshock 2 Remastered have the same control layout as the original release, though thankfully these game key bindings can be changed freely by the player. The default controls may be unintuitive for most PC FPS players, though this can be fixed with a quick journey through the options menu.

Sadly a lot of the mouse control problems from the Original version of Bioshock are still present in this Remastered version, which means that this release should be considered as a visually upgraded version of the game rather than a fully Redesigned PC version of the game.

While this new version of Bioshock does fix the fixed 30Hz Physics of the original, this new version does not fully fix the PC version of Bioshock. This is not us saying that this new PC version of the game is by any means unplayable, it just means that gamers shouldn't expect more than a visual upgrade from this rerelease.

It's mostly a retexture project. Lighting and some particles have also been improved, but not by much. And even textures could have been much better.Quote
