Gear of War: Ultimate Edition Performance Retest - The Game has been Fixed!

Updated settings - VRAM requirements

One of the biggest changes to the game have been to the games settings, with the textures now listing their VRAM requirements and the game can now detect your GPUs available VRAM. This will allow users to be able to choose appropriate texture settings and hopefully give them a better gaming experience.

The game does not have any extra graphical options or settings, but it is great to see the game give users more information. Gear of War: Ultimate Edition still has a smaller number of graphical settings than the Original PC release, which is very disappointing for a supposed remaster, especially for users who want proper AA options.

It is not V-Sync. the game has a framerate cap at monitor refresh. Not V-SyncQuote

Looks like OC3D is biased towards AMD. Nvidia was faster so game was broken, now AMD is faster or ties and suddenly game is fixed. Now look at Hitman review - "AMD is simply dominant". Suddenly nothing from with that. Tides have changed and AMD gimping every game.Quote
