When looking past the river and beyond the boundaries of the Paris level there are not many notable changes in graphical detail, with only changes in lighting and Ambient Occlusion being easily noticeable.
When moving to high you can see in the distant building that extra chimneys and other distant details are added to the Paris skyline.
In the Paris level of Hitman the Level of Detail of the game has only had a very minor difference when moving from the highest to the lowest settings, but in this set of screenshots some of these visual differences are very easy to spot.
First you can see the the helicopter gains windscreen wipers when moving to high settings and that at low settings there is a lamp post that is somehow floating in midair until it is dawn in at medium settings. We can also see the detail of the distance grass get lost in the games lower settings, with the grass becoming much more detailed at Ultra settings as the blurry FXAA effect is replaces with SMAA.
