We saw in our review of the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X how the GP104 GPU doesn’t have 1080 performance reflective of its overall capabilities, so for our SLI tests we’ve sorted by the highest detail, 1440P with 8xMSAA, and clearly the GTX 1080 in SLI adores higher resolutions and detail levels. This love for strenuous activity is shown in sharp relief in the 4K benchmark, where the MSI strolls off into the distance.
