MSI GTX980 Gaming Review

Resident Evil 6

An element of our testing that has appeared too often to be dismissed is the relative performance drop off when moving from 1080P to 1440P. Clearly the MSI Gaming rocks on, but there are 700 points between a Strix OC and the Gaming OC, despite the Gaming performing admirably in the 1080P resolution.

I have two of these bad boys in SLI and get 145FPS nearly constant in BF4 in ULTRA everything turned on @1440p at 144hz multiplayer and couldn't be happier the only disappointment is the lack of a back plate but still a nice cardQuote

It all depends on silicon lottery.

I have a reference 980 that can do 1560/2100 which is far higher than the EVGA SC.Quote
