There is a lot to like about the looks of the MSI Gaming X. We've spoken at length about how good the Twin Frozr VI cooler is, and it's in full effect here, combining a passive fan with a regular one to keep the noise low when you're in low use scenarios. Of course the Twin Frozr VI is quiet even under harsh loading, and we've already seen how efficient the GTX 1050 Ti GPU is, so we're pretty sure that this Gaming X will continue the trend of quiet MSI cards. Even though the GTX 1050 Ti isn't the biggest graphics card in the world the Twin Frozr fits the PCB well too, meaning that the card looks way more expensive than it is. Something we always enjoy. Nobody wants a card that looks cheaper than it cost.

Lastly the important part is that the MSI GTX 1050 Ti comes equipped with a power input. Hopefully the combination of that and the MSI Afterburner software will allow us some overclocking fun and games, or at the very least free up the GPU Boost technology to work its magic without the card being compromised by the power target.

Come back next week to read our full review, and in the meantime let us know what you think in the OC3D Forums.

Looks the same as every other MSI gaming card, complete with stupid dragon. I wish they would at least change up the colours, or, offer some sort of snap in parts that allow you to change the colour. It's getting really boring now.Quote

If this is as good as the 750 Ti Gaming, sign me up - this thing is one of the best I've ever owned. In a case with s***e airflow, and I've never heard the fans in the two years I've had it.Quote
