Introduction
Today we will be having a quick look at MSI's new GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X Trio GPU, which comes with an all-new cooler design and several noteworthy enhancements over MSI's standard GTX 1080 Ti, which includes MSI's new heatsink design changes and the use of what MSI calls "Premium Thermal Compound X".
Specifications
This new GPU is designed to run both cooler and quieter than MSI's existing GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X, with the GPU offering the following clock speed profiles depending on what mode you decide to run the GPU in.

What MSI is offering with the Trio is a larger, more robust cooler design that offers an additional cooling fan and 10% more effective cooling area, allowing this GPU to run both cooler and quieter under load.
