MSI N465GTX Twin Frozr II Review
Straight away we can see how hard this N465GTX rocks. At stock in Unigine it just edges ahead of the reference 465 but when it's overclocked it's a completely different animal, spanking the middleweight champion HD5850.
Graphics cards have now become so powerful that Anti-Aliasing is able to be implemented across everything but the basic models and with 8xAA applied in Unigine the N465GTX takes an even larger lead. The HD5850 does start to take a performance hit because we have normal Tesselation applied, but there is no doubt at all who is the King of this particular test. The MSI N465GTX Twin Frozr II ending up first and second in our graph.
3D Mark Vantage
Tesselation isn't a factor in Futuremarks 3D Mark Vantage and so we expect to see our results more closely resemble expectations. Sure enough this is the case with the stock GTX465 and the N465GTX at stock speeds. You could barely squeeze a Rizla between them.
When the MSI is spanked a little harder with our overclock it handily beats the otherwise excellent HD5850. Of course the HD5850 has a lot of overclock potential too and here it's run at stock, but nonetheless the results speak for themselves.
