Nvidia Mass Test – Everything from the GTX 1060 to the RTX 4080
We’re testing our games in both 1440P and 4K resolutions, and we’ve split the graphs out into resolutions to hopefully make them a little easier to read. Vanilla is, as we said on page one, the game in non-ray traced mode, but also with any of the helping assistance of DLSS turned off. It’s the closest approximation to the raw horsepower of the card before any unique to Nvidia features are added on. Think of it like a naturally aspirated car versus a turbo. The two things that are clear here is how DLSS overcomes any performance impact of ray tracing, but also at the top end how insanely good the Nvidia Framegen technology is on their latest 4000 series cards.
