Control - With Ray Tracing and DLSS Testing

Nvidia RTX 3080 Founders Edition Review

Remedy Entertainment’s Control is one of those games that demonstrates everything available to you in modern engines and with modern hardware. Not only does it have destructible environments, but it supports all the hardware tricks, including Ray Tracing and DLSS on hardware with either or both of those features.

Control features on of PC game's most complete ray tracing implementations to date, offering support for ray-traced reflections, ray-traced transparent reflections, ray-traced indirect diffuse lighting and ray-traced contact shadows. If you want to see how ray tracing will impact future games, Control is a great game to look at.

With Control, we’re testing in every possible combination to demonstrate how the game's ray tracing and DLSS features can impact your frames per second. The first graph is all resolutions in 'plain' (DLSS Disabled) mode. The second graph shows Control's performance with Ray Tracing set to high, and the third graph showcases game performance Ray Tracing and DLSS on and off to highlight each feature's performance impact for demonstration purposes.

I would think its stock. Would expect it to be labelled OC if anything. Those are some impressive numbers. Lets hope I maintain my good deal 3090 now Quote

In shadow of tomb raider 4k max ray tracing no dlss, why does 3080 oc have double the framerate of 3080 non oc? Typo?Quote

It's about what I expected, Not very impressive to be honest considering the 2 year gap since the last big Nvidia launch.Quote
