Temperatures and Power Draw

Modern graphics cards no longer rely upon the user to overclock them, as the drivers now make the most of any spare power or thermal headroom available to boost the clocks to give the smoothest performance. Thus the temperature graph is a little less important than it used to be unless the manufacturer has created a godly cooler, whilst Power Draw is fun on your energy bill, but most of us just care about performance rather than a handful of Watts here and there. With slight variance in ambient temperatures we're also including the delta temperature too, so you know exactly how well the card performs relative to the air temperature.

Nvidia really, REALLY offended a lot of the market with these cards, it is a overpriced abomination that isnt worth the silicon during a god awful shortage, yes i know these are here because these gpu's don't make the cut to be a 3090 but then just put them on a 3080 board and sell them instead of putting them on a huge markup for a pathetic performance increase and a bit more memory. Shame on Nvidia.Quote

Unfortunately NVIDIA has the consumer or deep pocketed enthusiasts by the balls! Along with all of the other GPU manufacturers proffering their own better looking and said more powerful (tweaked) cards. Mass USA 30-series availability is being said to come later this month but stores will nevertheless be selling out very quickly. Best Buys said: "Come early...stay in line outside...and before we are actually open...and we give you a number. So by the time you are pushed into the store by the exited and salawating crowd your NVIDIA $1,300 purchase is reserved and waiting." I work for Walmart on the third shift driving a forklift. We have these type of customers too, but they will stay inline for a mere $5-$10 savings. Two different world's and two very different realities.Quote

The time is now! Here we go "BEST BUY" by the numbers. People with cash staying in line with dreams of 3080 Ti's. Maybe I should come very early and get a reserved number and sell it on the spot for $50 to the deep pockets?Quote

All of these insane price hikes have killed any enthusiasm I have for the PC hobby.Quote
