Graphical Comparisons - AMD vs Nvidia

Comparing AMD to Nvidia in this game present us with no real visual difference, which is what you would expect from a good game. We do comparison screenshots to show is any of the GPUs cheat to deliver good performance, sacrificing quality for a higher framerate, but here we can see that both sets of screenshots are more or less identical.

This game more or less a level playing field for both vendors, with the game having Nvidia's own HBAO+ technology and the game using AMD's TressFX/PureHair tech, so both vendors were no doubt considered when this game was being built.

Now let's move onto the meaty stuff, the performance data. Which side will win? AMD or Nvidia!

Nice article though I'm now sad knowing my poor old gpu will probably die if I turn the setting right upQuote

Nice write up Mark. What genuinely surprises me is the difference in visual quality at each setting. More games recently seem to have little or no discernible difference once you get to the higher quality levels.Quote

And does the opposite with a 970 lol. I'll stop this game until I have a better card... Pascal...

I'll read it shortly, cheers Mark!Quote
