Rise of the Tomb Raider – AMD VS Nvidia Performance Review

Moving onto the 1080p results for today’s flagship GPUs we see that both side perform very evenly, at the lower settings, though as we get to the higher settings we see an ever larger gap emerge between AMD and Nvidia. 

While even at Max settings both GPUs can maintain an average of above 60FPS, it is important to note how good AMD’s minimum framerate performance is, especially at the lower settings.

Nvidia is the platform of chance in terms of raw performance at the highest settings at 1080p, but we have to remember that AMD is still yet to release an optimized driver for this game, so things could improve in the future for them.
