GTX 980 Ti VS R9 Fury X – 1440p Performance Retested

 

At 1440p AMD and Nvidia are fighting tooth and nail for the top GPU position, with AMD’s newest driver giving AMD a nice little bump in performance. Now at the highest settings the minimum framerates are indistinguishable between the GTX 980Ti and R9 Fury X, with the average framerates being very similar.  

At high settings and below AMD now have a decent lead when it comes to minimum framerate while at most settings the average framerates of both sides are almost identical.
