Resident Evil Village - Resizable Bar On VS Off with AMD's RX 5700 XT
Resident Evil Village is another title that showcases moderate performance gains thanks to AMD's Smart Access Memory feature, again showcasing larger performance gains at 1080p than at 1440p and 4K. Even so, framerates are increased significantly at all framerates. Even our 4K results see average framerate increases of around 5%.
Again, Smart Access Memory is a welcome addition to the RX 5000 series for Resident Evil Village players. While it isn't groundbreaking, it does deliver higher framerates, which is great news for all RX 5000 series GPU owners.

Nice to see that SAM no longer seems to hurt performance. I wonder if it still does on some games, or if AMD fixed it such that if it doesn't help then at least it doesn't hurt. |
Thanks for the spot ET3D.
