Watch Dogs Legion - Resizable Bar On VS Off with AMD's RX 5700 XT
Watch Dogs Legion is another title that sees no benefit from AMD's Smart Access Memory feature. That said, Smart Access Memory doesn't give us any noticeable performance changes, which is great news. We aren't seeing negative results here, just margin-of-error performance data.
At best, Smart Access Memory can deliver a performance boost, but Watch Dogs Legion showcases that even recently released games aren't guaranteed to deliver gamers higher framerates when Resizable BAR/ Smart Access Memory is enabled.

Nice to see that SAM no longer seems to hurt performance. I wonder if it still does on some games, or if AMD fixed it such that if it doesn't help then at least it doesn't hurt. |
Thanks for the spot ET3D.
