Smart Access Memory on Zen 2 CPUs - The Power of Resizable Bar!

Crysis Remastered (Patch 2.0) - Resizable Bar On VS Off

Unlike Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Crysis Remastered does not benefit greatly from resizable BAR/Smart Access Memory support. Even so, the marginal increases in performance that we see below are welcome.

Smart Access Memory is not a magic bullet that will give PC gamers huge performance increases in every game, as today's games are designed to work within the limitations of today's technology. Developers cannot make games with Resizable BAR/Smart Access Memory in mind without knowledge of the technology.

The results in Assassins Creed and Forza are pretty impressive for something as simple as a bios update.Quote

Yeah, it is crazy how much extra performance the feature brings to some games. It will be interesting how games utilise this feature in the future, especially when Nvidia adopts a form of it.Quote

Some X470 and B450 boards do, I wouldn't expect the full functionality though as the boards are quite literally missing the hardware needed for full PCI-E 4 support.
