Graphical Comparisons - AMD vs Nvidia

Ever since the GPU wars began between AMD and Nvidia there have always been those who believe that one side or the other have forced the game to give inferior graphics to give the game a higher framerate and gain more favourable reviews for their own hardware as a result. While most of the time visual differences are minor or non existent, it is always worth checking to see if one side or the other has altered the visuals for a performance advantage.

As can be seen in the images below there is little to no difference between screenshots from AMD's R9 Fury X and Nvidia's GTX 980Ti, which is great to see and it almost guarantees that there is no driver or visual trickery going on here.

The high-res, low preset images of Endor links point back to the previous set of screenshots.

BTW the effort put into these performance/graphical reviews are outstanding.Quote

Not sure I will buy/play this as it's too online/other people focused but thanks for doing this Mark. It's very cool that OC3D has a bencher with both cards to put out the real figures Quote
