Tom Clancy's The Division DirectX 12 PC Performance Review

1440p Performance

Moving up to 1440p Ultra settings we see a very similar performance trend to 1080p, with the only major change being that the GTX 980Ti now outperforms the R9 Fury X when both GPUs are using their fastest performing API.

Now only the GTX 1080 is the only GPU that can play the game at Ultra settings with a steady 60+ FPS framerate, though 60+ FPS gameplay is achievable on all of these GPUs at lower graphical settings.

Again we see that AMD hardware gains some additional performance when using the DirectX 12 API, with Nvidia's GPUs losing performance in all cases. Again the RX 480 Strix and GTX 1060 Strix perform very similarly in this game, with identical minimum framerates.

Is it me or are the red bars showing DX 12 and DX 11 averages identical in colour? how are we supposed to know which is which?

Ed. OK I guess the one on top of the white or gray is the corresponding one to the API? so DX12 sucks balls basically.Quote

Sorry about that, I guess the colour don't looks as similar on some screens. Or perhaps my colour acuity is better than average.

I'll redo the graphs and reupload them. (graphs have been reuploaded for more contrast)Quote

OK so looks like the same story as with a number of other implementations of DX12 AMD gains a few FPS on average while Nvidia takes a bit of a hit in DX12 mode.Quote
