Into the 4K tests, the ones that should really show up any benefit to the performance from an 8GB card. We expect, in gaming terms, to obtain around - roughly - 50% of the FPS from 4K we get from 1440P. Sure enough the XFX does just that. In fact the only times it doesn't is when the 1440P result was poor, rather than the 4K result being boosted.

Apprently the HBM card doesnt come under the 390 naming scheme, the 390x is just an 8GB 290x with higher clocks.Quote
