Up Close

The front is a typical three fan shroud in a gentle silver with soft angles everywhere. A geometrists dream. All three fans are the same size and follow the modern 0RPM trend when the card isn't being overly taxed. Anything that keeps the noise levels down is something upon which we can get on board.

Around the back we have a big Zotac logo and another section of RGB lighting which moves from the power input across the backplate. It's a nice look and helps unify the top and bottom halves of your system together.

As you saw at the top of the page this side is where all the lighting happens. We like the design which hides it all away until the card is powered on. It's a nicer look than the "this is where the lighting will be" aesthetic of many cards. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but we like it.

In the power department the Zotac eschews the three 8pin power that we saw from the MSI Suprim X and ASUS Strix LC, instead sticking to the 2x8 pin PCIe power. How this affects the overall performance, if at all, we'll discover in a moment.
