ASUS Strix Mouse, Headset & Keyboard Review

Strix Tactic Pro cont & Technical Specifications

ASUS Strix Peripherals

Tactic Pro

As with any good gaming keyboard the Tactic Pro comes with plenty of dedicated macro keys to ensure you have the fullest command at any moment, without having to switch profiles or find spare combinations. As well as 10 to the left of the normal QWERTY keys there are three below the space bar and the F-Keys can double up too, if you're particularly demanding.

There are some function keys as well, as you would expect. These include light adjustment, NKEY rollover, Windows Key lock and at the top right there are dedicated media keys as well as a volume. We're not sure if we like the orange trace as it smacks of bargain basement no-brand stuff, but that's just a personal taste.

The lighting is very orange, and nicely uniform as you would hope from individual LEDs on each Cherry MX switch. We'd quite like to see the media keys light up too, but understand why they don't.

I like the look of that keyboard, not a fan of the design of the Strix headset though.Quote

Agree with Kyiagi. The headset is the only one I like. I had high hopes for the mouse, but nope. Yuck. Looks like it was made by HP.Quote

This design is nice. Is the owl, or at least the wings going to be incorperated into the parts, for instance the owl painted on the mouse, or on the ear piece of the headphones? I know, kinda a dumb question but the design would be awesome if incorperated that way.Quote

Nevermind my question I didn't see the next page before I asked. Just found it. The headset looks awesome. Like the owl eyes.Quote
