With an addition set of covers for the sides and the top, the box for the MasterMouse Pro L is quite a bit deeper than normal mouse packaging. The mouse itself is surprisingly slender. A textured top and sides give the whole thing a 'carved from a stone' feel, although those who demand rubberised sides will obviously be disappointed. In keeping with the ambidextrous design there are two buttons on each side, and if you're the type of person who catches the DPI switch button a lot then you'll be pleased to know it's been relocated to the underside. We're not sure whether this is good or bad. Normally it's on the top and thus can be reassigned if you don't play with your DPI. Hmm.
