Corsair Glaive RGB Gaming Mouse Review

Corsair Glaive RGB Gaming Mouse Review

Introduction

The Corsair Gaming range has rapidly expanded to included pretty much everything you could ever wish to attach to your computer. Some, like their K series of keyboards, are easily amongst the finest available on the market. Others such as their mouse range have been always in with a shout without ever quite breaking through into the very top echelons of gaming rodents.

With the release of the Glaive RGB Corsair have blended a lot of features we’ve seen elsewhere into one premium mouse. Does it finally push them to the peak of the mountain?

Technical Specifications

The specifications of the Glaive tick every box that you would have listed on a modern high end gaming mouse. The sensor usually defines a mouse and with the Glaive that is no exception, with a magnificent range starting at 100 DPI and going all the way up to the current class leading figure of 16000 DPI. Particularly worthy of note is that it adjusts in 1 DPI increments, so you really can fine tune it to the exact sensitivity that suits you. With a low weight of only 122 grams and three customisable lighting zones the user friendliness is high too, and if you’re determined to utilise every feature at your fingertips there are six customisable buttons. Of course nobody would customise LMB/RMB, but four is still a nice number to have. Lastly the cable is a good length at 6 foot long, and the mouse itself sits just at the larger end of the size spectrum.
