Corsair Glaive RGB Gaming Mouse Review

The Corsair Glaive RGB is by no means the first mouse we've reviewed that had alternative side panels, but it is the first that has such a strange selection. The primary side - bottom image - sticks out a little bit so you end up having to rest your thumb on top of it if you want to hit the back/forward buttons in that life or death moment, which negates the rubber pads. However, if you're not utilising the back and forward buttons in your particular game then the extra grip is extremely useful. The middle image is the non-rubberised side which otherwise is about the same shape, just with a slightly narrow angle at the front to blend into the body of the mouse. It still doesn't leave the side buttons protruding though, so it's the same as the first one but with none of the extra grip benefits. Lastly we have the thumb shelf side, primary image, which is the slenderest of the three and therefore closest to the feeling you get from every other mouse on the planet. Although the side buttons are still recessed even in with this one installed.
