Lighting

Although the lock indicators remain resolutely white it's nice to see that the media keys adopt whichever colour you have set either using the presets or tinkering with the CUE software. Very nice.

The lighting is outstandingly good. With clear switch surrounds and a bright background the whole keyboard gets richly saturated and even with heavily contrasting colours you have a great result, as you can see here. If you just want your desk to double up as an ad-hoc Blackpool illuminations then this ticks that particular box.

Of course if you prefer to do what, let's be honest, most of us do and just set everything to your colour of choice then the K68 combines the excellent switch lighting and white backdrop to great effect.

Only thing I wish Corsair would do is improve the search for new lighting/profiles. They give you the sort options of total downloads and total likes, both basically amount to "profiles that have been on here a long time"Quote

"keyboards always flat".
No, I given an opportunity always have the back edge raised up on the feet.
And even on my current one with a broken rear foot it has an angle by default.
If anything I would rather have it sloped when it comes to liquid, as that will get it off the surface quicker than it sitting there longer when flat.Quote
