The lighting on the K95 Platinum XT is everything we have come to expect from Corsair, but with one exception. If you've been fiddling with RGB lighting for as long as we have you'll know there are two colours it struggles with, yellow (which tends towards green) and white (with leans into the blue spectrum). The white is perfect, crystal clear and no noticable blue cast. The yellow on the other hand is a curious beast, with the yellow backlighting tending towards green, but the keys themselves have a strange red cast to them. It's the worst of both worlds. Hopefully this is just our pre-release sample, but it's something to bear in mind if you're determined to have yellow as your hue of choice.

I would argue the complete opposite. Corsair knows good design and sticks with it. It benefits them that they don't have to resort to "gimmicks" like Razer does.
Plus I would take the QUALITY of Corsair over Razer junk ANY DAY. I have had loads of friends rant and rave about Razer.....only to go to Corsair a few months later dues to their Razer junk failing on them.
I myself have a K70 LUX RGB that I have had since it came out....with absolutely no issues whatsoever.

I had a K70 that was very good, really well built and only got replaced cos one my cats puked on it
