The box for the Sabre is the typical Corsair blend of solidity and simplicity. It guarantees to keep the mouse in perfect condition thanks to double thickness cardboard on both the external and internal compartments.

The Sabre itself is a right handed mouse with particular attention paid to the left mouse button as the design sweeps around. Unlike many of its contemporaries the scrollwheel is the floating kind we haven't seen in a while. The underside has plenty of low-friction pads to keep your gaming experience smooth. At the top left hand corner are the DPI adjustments as well as the LED which indicates which profile you're currently on. Just behind the scrollwheel is a button which doesn't get in the way during use.

The right hand side of the Sabre is unadorned as one would expect from a mouse designed for right handed users. The left side has a clearer view of the profile indicator, as well as the standard back/forward buttons we've all come to expect from modern rodents.

Lastly the cable is up to the usual high standards of Corsair with a generous length wrapped in an attractive braid. We're so accustomed to Corsair being blue that the yellow USB plug is something of a surprise despite the clues of yellow packaging and the yellow flash on the underside of the mouse. You certainly wont miss which cable it is in the maelstrom of your case's rear.

This is so tempting, But I already have a black Corsair M95, Must think this through, Dammit I'm having an argument with myself over a mouse...Quote

Got the laser version last week and I'm happy with it, its does exactly what I want, very precise and so lightweight. for the lack of precision with coloring, but nvm mine is white .
Thanks for the review TomQuote
