Greetings fair readers. We hope that the festive season treated you well, and that if it didn't it's merely a long weekend amongst an otherwise less socially demanding year of them.

If you found yourself on Santas nice list then perhaps you were fortunate enough to be in possession of a DDR5 capable motherboard, or perhaps one fell into your basket in the post-Christmas sales. If so then you'll be in the market for a new DDR5 kit to install in it.

Until now those of you who prefer your components on the whiter side of pale will know that it hasn't been possible to always go for high end parts as they don't always appear in the FFFFFF hue. However, with ASUS moving their Maximus Formula Z690 across to white then the time has come for everyone to get on board without having to compromise their hardware choices. To this end the Corsair Dominator Platinum, the highest selling memory kit on the planet, is now available in white too, so of course we had to get hold of one and test it out.

What did we discover? First, let's run through the specs and see it in the flesh and then we'll plug it in with our Core i9-12900K and find out how it performs.
