 Corsair RX1000i Special Edition White PSU

This has been a product that we have been requesting from Corsair for years, a white PSU. This power supply uses Corsair's Gold Award winning RX1000i design create one of the most aesthetically pleasing PSUs that we have ever seen, coming with white braided cables out of the box and a white LED fan. 

The RX1000i comes with 80+ Gold efficiency and uses all-Japanese capacitors, making this PSU both reliable and efficient, allowing this PSU to operate quietly under load thanks to its quiet 120mm fan and 0dB fan mode for low loads.  

This Limited Edition PSU will be individually numbered and will be limited to only 100 units. This PSU will only be available on the Corsair Store for $199.99. 

Corsair Premium PSU Cables 

For a long time, aftermarket PSU cable kits have been available on the market, though these have often been made by 3rd parties with some manufacturers leaving out some vital details which will leave builders with lower levels of efficiency. 

In recent years, Corsair has added capacitors to their PSU cables to enhance the efficiency and lower the ripple of their power supplies, allowing them to deliver cleaner power to your system. This has made Corsair one of the best performing PSU brands on the market, but some makers of aftermarket cables have decided to leave out this addition to their Corsair Cable kits. 

These new cable kits come directly from Corsair and are designed to offer the same performance as their stock cables while providing and enhanced system aesthetic. These cables will come in single colour and dual colour kits, as can be seen in the picture above. 

This cable kit comes in with a similar level of quality as Cablemods kits, which also come with capacitors midway through the cable. These capacitors are invisible when inside a system as they will be behind your PC's motherboard tray. These kits will be usable on Corsair RMi, RMx and SF series PSUs and can be purchased on the Corsair store and partnered retailers.   

Conclusion

Corsair has taken their 10-year celebration seriously, providing fans with a limited edition white PSU and giving PSU builders an officially supported selection of sleeved PSU cables.  

Some of Corsair's new range of sleeved PSU cables are already available to purchase, though their full range is expected to become available sometime in early December.  Those who wish to purchase one of Corsair's Limited Edition RM1000i SE White PSUs can purchase one on the Corsair storefront here. 

In recent years Corsair has been pushing the envelope with what we can expect from a PSU, coming with some of the longest warranties in the industry, some of the higher efficiency PSUs available and have even become one of the first manufacturers to embrace the new SFX PSU form factor. 

With the recent release of their new Magnetic Levitation ML-series fans and their new RGB illuminated products the company may be planning to enhance their incoming PSUs with new RGB colour options and ultra quiet fans, or perhaps plan to work their PSU boffins harder to find the next innovative step to increase the efficiency, stability or longevity of their products.
