Blue Protocol PC Benchmark Performance Overview

Blue Protocol PC Benchmark Performance Overview

So, how well does Blue Protocol’s PC benchmark run on PC?

If there are two things that I have taken away from my time testing graphics cards with Blue Protocol’s PC benchmark, it’s that Blue Protocol looks fantastic on PC, and that this game really would benefit from support for super resolution/smart upscaling technologies like Nvidia’s DLSS, AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0, or Intel’s XeSS.

Overall, Blue Protocol runs well on PC, and even older graphics cards like AMD’s RX 480 and Nvidia’s GTX 1060 will likely be able to achieve 60+ FPS framerates at 1080p within Blue Protocol when the game releases later this year. That’s great news for PC gamers with lower-end systems, or PCs with older hardware configurations.

At 1440p, 60+ FPS average framerates could be achieved within Blue Protocol’s benchmark with GPUs like AMD’s RX 5700 and Nvidia’s RTX 2060 6GB, and 100+ FPS average framerates are achievable for GPUs like Nvidia’s RTX 3060 Ti or higher. This is great news for owners of 1440p displays and users of more recent GPUs. This should also mean that high frame rate gameplay within Blue Protocol should be fairly achievable on PC, assuming that this benchmark is somewhat representative of the full game.

4K is where Blue Protocol’s performance starts to drop hard, but modern high-end GPUs can still achieve incredible framerates due to their sheer GPU grunt. Nvidia’s RTX 4090 achieves an average framerate of over 150 FPS at 4K using the benchmark’s highest preset, more than showcasing that users of ultra-high-end GPUs should be able to make high framerate 4K gameplay a reality in Blue Protocol.

Blue Protocol PC Benchmark Performance Overview

When using this benchmark it is worth noting that there was some shader compilation stutter when we first tested Blue Protocol’s PC benchmark. We hope that Bandai Namco and Amazon Games work to ensure that stutters like this are not present within Blue Protocol when it launches later this year. Additionally, we would also like to see Blue Protocol to support various resolution upscaling technologies to help ensure that high resolution/refresh rate gameplay is accessible to a broader range of PC hardware configurations when the game launches later this year.

Blue Protocol looks great on PC, and we look forward to seeing this game in its final form when it releases later this year.
