Preset Scaling

As a next-generation exclusive title on consoles, Deathloop is a game that is designed to leave older hardware behind. As such, Deathloop has no Ambient Occlusion Off option or many graphical options that will make the game hideous. Even at its lowest settings, Deathloop still looks like a great game, which is great news for everyone who cannot run Deathloop at Ultra settings.

The only setting that is easy to notice at low settings is shadow quality, as it adds aliasing to the game's shadows and is especially noticeable for thin shadows from overhead wires and other thin level geometry.

Notice how turning Deathloop's graphics preset to low has the same performance impact as turning Deathloop's FSR option to Ultra Quality.

The tests below were conducted using an RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition.
