4K Performance Tested - Extreme Preset
At 4K, Forza Horizon 5 looks incredible, offering gamers crisp visuals and a level of detail that is not seen in other racers. With GPUs like Nvidia's RTX 3070 and RTX 3070 Ti, 60+ FPS framerates are maintained during most situations, with gameplay offering a similar performance profile to the game's benchmark during races.
For GPUs like AMD's RX 6800 and Nvidia's RTX 2080 Ti, minor reductions in graphics settings are enough to enable solid 60+ FPS framerates. For GPUs like AMD's RX 5700 XT, using high settings will be enough to enable steady 60 FPS performance. The same should be true for the RTX 2060 and GTX 1080 Ti.
High framerates in Forza Horizon 5 are relatively easy to achieve if you avoid the game's Extreme preset. Extreme settings are for extreme hardware.

I think i'd enjoy the game but i have a lot left to do in FH4 and tbh FH5 might as well just be a reskin of FH4 it's so similar it's just in a diifferent place tbh, but the lego content and general fun of the game is good just for me doesn't seem worth getting FH5 maybe by FH10 they might have changed it enough to warrant the buy.

And yeah it's an absolutely gargantuan game, of course there's a lot of rehashed models, mechanics and so forth - and I'm not a fan of the 60 asking price for base edition. But game pass is a cracking deal.Quote
It's the only open world racing series in town with decent physics, so I'll likely get it eventually, but I'd really like Solar Crown to come along and do a more grounded and progressive take on it, kinda like Horizon 1 was. I'f they gave me Horizon 1 updated with the new modification system, and map tech I'd be all over it like a rash.Quote
I got to admit I didn't read much of the text (just looked at the benchmarks), but this typo caught my eye: "moving from extreme settings too high settings" on page 9.Quote
