Graphical Settings Comparison - High-Resolution Texture Pack
Unlike Gears of War 4, Gears 5 has made the game's high-resolution texture pack an optional feature, which is installable through the game's graphical options menu. This texture pack will eat up around 30GB of storage space, granting significant space savings for those who lack the high-resolution screens or frame buffer sizes to benefit from higher quality textures.
Gears 5's standard textures already look pretty good, but the game's high-resolution texture pack can deliver some major improvements in some areas. This texture pack is designed for those with at least 8GB of VRAM and a 1440p+ screen resolution. Many of these texture changes are subtle, but they have a huge impact on the game's cutscenes, where there are plenty of armour close-ups to look at.

I'm actually confused now with the results or is it something my end? These are my benchmark results on a 1060 with the texture pack installed: https://cdn1.imggmi.com/uploads/2019...0dd5f-full.jpg
