1440p Performance

1440p - VRAM limits continue to be a problem
At 1440p the CPU limited nature of Hogwarts Legacy continues to be a problem, with Nvidia's RTX 4090 being entirely CPU-limited in our Hogsmeade test area. 8GB graphics cards like Nvidia's RTX 3070 Ti see performance tank at 1440p, requiring the game to be set to medium textures for the game's performance to stabilise.
With DLSS or FSR 2, GPUs like Nvidia's RTX 3060 Ti and similar performing graphics cards can be used to achieve solid 60 FPS framerates.

It's nice to find a game that really pushes hardware.
I am interested to see if AMDs 3D cache CPUs will significantly benefit this game since they will be able to store far more data on die rather than constantly fetch from memory.Quote
Great work on this, OC3D team. First game to see a real benefit of using DLSS3.

From what I've read a fair few people even with a 4090 are still seeing GPU usage dipping down to 80% which means DLSS3 isn't working like it should.Quote
