Windows 10 Meltdown/Spectre Patch Performance Impact Assessment

Geekbench

When using Geekbench we can see our first notable performance difference, but even then the changes are minor. On both patches, the single-threaded scores are almost identical, but on the post-patch system, we see a degradation in the benchmark's Multi-threaded score, though even then the performance difference was just less than 2%.

Again the difference here is so small that it simply isn't worth caring about, the results are rather anticlimactic so far.

I think you mean invulnerable, right?
Nice to see the performance hit for the average user is minimal.Quote

Fixed and fixed.

Yeah, I am very happy to know that the performance hit is minimal for most standard users. Only slightly annoying that so much time was spend testing it.Quote
