Anvil IOPS

Testing Input/Output Operations Per Second is a popular method for manufacturers, and important if you're the type of user who needs to run many programs at once that are making demands of the drive. We know that only the most demanding user will ever get close to the limits of a drive, even on PCI Express 3.0, but for those of you who might count yourselves amongst that number the Corsair MP400 makes an excellent fist of things. Clearly the extra bandwidth of the PCI Express 4.0 Samsung 980 has a benefit, but for the PCIe 3.0 drives the MP400 is up amongst the best.
