Anvil IOPS
Just like out other Anvil results, the MX300 is shown to offer performance that places it in the lower end of the SSD market, showing us that 3DNAND is not a magic bullet that makes SSDs amazingly fast.
While the MX300 is at the lower end of the SATA SSD lineup in this test, no SATA controlled SSD is exceedingly far ahead of the MX300, which again makes the Crucial MX300 look attractive for its low pricepoint.
With some SATA SSDs coming with prices of £100+ more than the MX300 the price of our 1.05TB model continues to look like a sound purchasing decision for budget conscious system builders. While the MX300 does not offer leading-edge SSD performance, it still remains an attractive option and certainly has its place in the market.

Even I'd have trouble filling that |
It is nice that this SSD does offer quite a large capacity, as 1050GB is a lot more than the 960GB drives we commonly see these days.Quote
You would be surprised how quickly we could fill it. All out GPU benchmark games alone would take up most of it.
