This test writes random data to the drive until it’s full. Each data point is taken at 25%, 50%, 75% and finally 100% full. Although the Gigabyte G5 10000 quickly slows down from its ludicrous heights, remember you’re very unlikely to be writing 500GB chunks in one go, even with the latest AAA titles or a full length 4K video.
