The earlier of our two Crystal Disk Mark benchmarks splits the difference between the Samsung and the Sabrent, with the Read performance just edging towards the Samsung whilst the Write bandwidth goes the way of the Sabrent. In either case Gen2 makes much more of a difference than whether you use Type-A or Type-C connectors.
