Obviously nobody expects a mechanical drive, even one with as much witchcraft underneath the hood as the Seagate Barracuda Compute Pro 10TB, to challenge a solid state offering. However, pay close attention to the extra performance unleashed in the buffered read test thanks to that Multi-Tier-Caching technology. A major boost.

10TB HDD colour me interested...

£450 ouch but it is new so could be worse...

Made by Seagate... screw that!

I personally do not trust Seagate at all and frankly never will, it is a good leap forward but until prices come down I won't bother though to be fair I could probably get away with half that capacity.
