ASUS GR6 Console PC Review

PCMARK 8

PCMARK 8 is a great tool for judging a PCs performance in everyday tasks, taking into account both CPU and GPU performance, like most other PC benchmarks, but will also take into account factors like storage and memory configurations.  As you can see below the ASUS GR6 sits at the bottom of the graph in terms of score, but this is mostly due to this system's lower CPU performance.

Looking at the competitors to the GR6 in this test we have 2 high-end laptops, the MSI Dragon, and the MSI GS70 Stealth, which both had cost over £1000 on release, contain an i7 CPU and solid state storage. The PC Specialist Rutilus is a full on desktop PC, which contains a Quad-Core CPU and an SSD. The ASUS GR6 is more than adequate for daily tasks, but it does well to even come close to any of these PC, given their much larger sizes.
