In case you're wondering why we're not taking advantage of having a 4K display on the GS63VR 7RF, then a quick glance at the 4K results in Unigine should clarify the situation. A GTX1070 in a desktop system struggles to be playable at 4K, so the GTX 1060 in the Stealth Pro has no chance at all, even with no anti-aliasing.

Also the fact 4k would drain the battery life immensely.
Very decent 1080p results though. No surprise there.
Overall great review. I wouldn't mind more laptop reviews, always nice to have a change from custom PCs.Quote
Yeah 4k on a 1060.. a 1080 would struggle more often than not. I mean if you are playing WoW or LoL/Dota 2 and games like that it would be fine. But for anything serious.. just no.

Thing is dude every one needs to offer stupid resolutions now 'cause Apple.Quote
I must say that my old 4k monitor did used to down scale very very well. You would never know you were not on a 1080p/1440p screen. So I guess there's no real overall harm in having the screen 4k and then gaming at lower resolutions.
