The Gigabyte Rig Review

Considering that we're running the vanilla Ryzen 5 3600 instead of the X variant, and on an air cooler, the overclocking potential is still outstanding. Not that far off of 4.3 GHz with 3600 MHz DDR4 is enough to fulfil the needs of all but the most demanding user. The RX 5700 XT also manages to boost itself to heights that should see us get some impressive results in our gaming benchmarks. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's find out how close the much more affordable Gigabyte Ryzen 5 3600 arrangement can get to the ROG 3800X one.

Nice rig. Just a shame that we now use the word budget when we are talking about a £1200 PC. Only 3/4 years ago £600 was a good budget for a gaming rig to keep you going a couple of years, and 1200 would get you a really high end rig, not anymore it seemsQuote
