Rendering Times

Two very different tests that are a nice pairing. Blender is a freeware 3D rendering tool that, of these two, is a very niche product. But if you want to create your own models it is certainly a fabulous way to do so without resorting to spending the phenomenal money necessary to get Maya or a similar pro-level program.

Sony Vegas on the other hand has quickly established itself as not only a genuine rival for Adobe Premiere but potentially the most popular video encoding suite on the market. As more and more of us share gaming or things we've recorded on our phone with the world, video editing and encoding software is not just for small film makers any more. The Ryzen 5 3600 in the Gigabyte rig is certainly capable enough for medium workloads in this area.

Nice rig. Just a shame that we now use the word budget when we are talking about a £1200 PC. Only 3/4 years ago £600 was a good budget for a gaming rig to keep you going a couple of years, and 1200 would get you a really high end rig, not anymore it seemsQuote
