The Crew Motorfest is coming to Steam next month

Ubisoft’s The Crew Motorfest is moving away from Epic Games Store and Connect exclusivity

Ubisoft launched The Crew Motorfest on PC and consoles last year, and on PC the publisher decided to release their Arcady racer on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect. Now, Ubisoft has confirmed that The Crew Motorfest will be coming to Steam next month.

In recent years, Ubisoft has been re-releasing many of their games on Steam. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, The Division 2, and many others have transitioned to Valve’s platform, and in time we expect titles like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to also make the move.

While the game is a fun racing title, Ubisoft’s The Crew Motorfest lacks many of the features that PC gamers expect. For starters, the game has a 60 FPS framerate cap, limiting the game’s performance on the platform. The game also lacks support for modern upscalers like DLSS or FSR 2. Visually, the game is also less advanced than Forza Horizon 5, a game that The Crew Motorfest is clearly inspired by. Even so, it is a fun release for racing fans, and it is frequently available with heavy discounts.

The Crew Motorfest is coming to Steam on April 18th and can now be wishlisted on the platform. If you want to play the game today, you can grab it on Ubisoft Connect or the Epic Games Store. For this reason, pre-orders for The Crew Motorfest are not available on Steam.
