Official Press Release
Arctic Cooling, a well-known manufacturer of computer cooling solutions, has just announced the release of their newest addition to their Accelero VGA cooler line: the Accelero S1. This is their passive solution geared towards those with high-end cards, supporting ATI's x1800 series & above and Nvidia's 6800 series & above. The four thick copper heatpipes utilize sintered powder wicks and are connected directly to the GPU core, providing maximum heat conductivity. The 32 fin design has been optimized to allow increased air flow and thus improved heat removal.
The Accelero S1 is slated to be available by the end of May with a MSRP of USD 29 and Euro 24 (excl VAT).
