DLSS Keeps Getting Better – Nvidia Launches DLSS 2.3

Nvidia’s DLSS technology is a critical technological advantage for the company, utilising the AI performance of their graphics cards to accelerate a wide range of applications by upscaling images to higher resolutions while retaining near-native levels of image quality.

Today, Nvidia has revealed DLSS 2.3, the latest upgrade to their AI-based upscaling technology. One of the promises of DLSS so to deliver higher levels of image quality over time, and DLSS 2.3 has further highlighted this claim. With DLSS 2.3, Nvidia’s improved use of motion vectors to improve object detail while reducing ghosting and temporal instability in many instances.

With DLSS 2.3, Nvidia’s promising the same performance gains as before, but with higher levels of image quality. In short, DLSS has just gotten even better.
