This update will be releasing on May 9th, the same day as the game’s Hot Wheels Expansion. At launch, Forza Horizon 3 suffered from some CPU related performance issues that made it difficult to maintain a steady 60FPS framerate, making this update a necessity for high levels of CPU performance on PC.
The new patch will also add official support for additional wheels, which should help those who use them better enjoy their driving experience.
Right now Forza Horizon is a Windows 10 Store exclusive on PC, coming as an Xbox Play Anywhere title that gives players access to the game on both Xbox One and PC.
