EK is releasing a new full-cover water block for AMD’s Vega series GPUs
EK has officially announced their new EK-FC Radeon Vega water block, offering support for AMD’s Radeon Vega Frontier Edition, RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56 GPUs.
In their press release, EK says that this block will allow Vega users to achieve higher boost clock speeds and provide extra performance in gaming tasks when combined with an adequate water cooling loop.
This new block design will come with bare copper or a nickel plated base and wither a clear acrylic or black acetal top. EK also recommends that users purchase a rear backplate for these GPUs to provide additional passive cooling to its VRM area, with EK’s official backplate costing at least €29.95.
EK have now opened pre-orders for their RX Vega series water blocks, which will start shipping on Monday, August 14th. Backplate orders will start shipping on August 25th. Below is a pricing chart for both parts.
